I gave an academic talk about a new unit of measure/instrument that looks like a game console. you can watch your own pregnancy and conception by manipulating between the screen, the desktop and the files.

 

This work blends speculative fiction and biotechnological exploration in living documentations. I'm challenging my usual storytelling to navigate the complexities of existence through the Metabolic Forest, the intricate interdependence, where synthetic and organic interlace to create a tapestry of new life — the fetus.

 

The portrayal of pregnancy translated in the talk of the 'new instrument' encapsulates a transformative process that mirrors the evolution of both the individual and the broader technological landscape. The fetus, a being of dual realms, becomes the central figure in this odyssey— potentiality and the fruit of a union between the natural world and the synthetic advancements of our era. A game-like structure as the structure, where each development in the pregnancy is akin to advancing to the next level, with the mother-to-be as both player and playing field. 

 

The humanity, trading, relationship, technocracy and the postcolonial discussion in the womb of biotechnological innovation. A world where the boundaries of life are redefined and where the unborn child, anarchists and the queer skins inhabit in the transgressive- romantic game.
